PHP / MYSQL Guru wanted:

Our current websites (LAMP-based) are straining from a steady increase in traffic each month, and we expect this growth to explode with the release of our new product. We need a thorough review of our existing capabilities, along with a plan of action and solution to our future needs.

Duties will include a top-to-bottom review of existing MYSQL databases and PHP-driven website, including identifying opportunities for optimization. We'd also like help as we roll out a new version of our website (being professionally designed by the graphics types)

What we are looking for:

Skills required:

• You have extensive experience in PHP for web development
• You have advanced training and experience with MYSQL including knowledge of stored procedures, INNODB, Boolean searches, and optimization strategies.
* A strong knowledge of HTML, XML and CSS.
* Experience with website security.
* An emphasis on enhancing the user experience at all times.

We're also happy to see people with:

* Perl and other scripting languages for automatic routine website maintenance.
* Ruby / AJAX skills would be helpful as we look to develop user customization capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
* Graphic design or a sense of style.
* Some knowledge of e-commerce / transaction software for website integration.

We are currently operating in a LAMP (Linux, Apache, Mysql, Php) environment.
