YourMacShow.com Was created By Myself and A good Friend Nate. Just a bit over 2 months ago. We Both have been PC users for several years. I had used Macs about 10 years ago, then My place of employment switched to Dell PC’s. This forced me Back to a Windows user. I work as a Fire Fighter However I also maintain our Cities street drawing’s with AutoCad. So i was forced back to the PC. When the iphone came out, I switch all my Home machines back to Mac, and now I will Never Go Back!! My Buddy Nate is still stuck in the Windows Loop. I am doing all I can to get him to switch. When I was Re introduced to the Mac, I had a pretty tough time. It was then I found Podcasts, and WOW did I learn a lot (still do) from the folks that put these shows together. Shows Like MacGeekGab, Typical Mac User Podcast, MacCast, The Mac Attack, and some many others! I remember listing to Victor Cajiao. He stated how he started his Podcast to help others, while helping himself. I thought What a great idea. I have taught for several years in our Fire Academy and found that I would always learn by teaching! So here we are, I thought no better way for me to re learn the Mac then Talk to others about it. So we started a Podcast. The I found Don McAllister at www.screencastsonline.com ! I have learned SO much from his screen Casts. Again it inspired me to try my hand at Screen Casting. I am Having so much fun doing screen casts, and It forces me to learn. I have also found that I have met so many New friends by doing this. I now have friends all over the world. This was one of the best things I have ever done! The Mac Community is just the BEST and i am thrilled to be part of that. We have had such great feedback from our “Few” listeners and plan to continue to learn so we can better help the people who listen and watch our shows. We have several things planned for the Future.
