Podcasts on a Google Map

Podcasts on a Google Map

This is under construction. A couple of things might help understand what is going on here.

1) There is more or less a limit of 100 podcasters displayed for now .
2) The map is centered on our office which we figured was as good a place as any to start.
3) Big city podcasts are randomly displayed across the city while we wait for podcasters to update with more accurate zipcodes, so if you are a stalker or psycho hunting down a podcaster, don't be surprised if you follow the map to someone elses' house.
4) Overseas podcasts are being tracked down and geocoded with the help of a really big atlas, ruler and magnifying glass.

Oh yea, this page probably doesn't display properly on Explorer. Get Firefox instead or reload the page to a more generic version here

We'd like to be able to display more podcasts per page (this is limited) and we'd also like to figure out a better way to deal with multiple podcasts in the same city (i.e. on top of each other lat/lon wise). We're looking at a slight randomizer that moves people a few hundred yards left or right of the city lat/lon coordinates. We don't really know what we are doing with the Google Map API so feel free to send us suggestions (info at podcastdirectory dot com). You can also edit your podcast to include a more accurate zip or postal code and we'll try to convert that to a latitude/longitude.

V.3 Big city randomizer spreads out multiple hits on same longitude.
V.2 State and Country based searches added (we don't have good lat/lon details from overseas just yet)
V.1 It works, sort of.
