Pattie Wright-The Men on the Line podcast

The author Pattie Wright wrote a moving, detailed and poetic book about the horrendous conditions , prisoners of war from Australia, New Zealand and the Netherlands as well as slave labour from all occuppied countries , were forced to work , often to their death. The use of prisoners of war as slave labour violated all the Geneva Conventions. Many of these prisoners did not return . Yet it is the spirit of these men which comes through, still evident in those who are alive to-day.
