Sonata” for violin and piano composed by Schumann, Albert Dietrich and Johannes Brahms.
Peter Roennfeldt was the featured pianist, accompanied by Margaret Schindler singing soprano, Gregory Massingham taking on the tenor role and Graeme Jennings on the violin.

Kennedy has played in several community and professional orchestras for various events and was the principal percussionist for the Queensland Youth Symphony's international tour to Europe in 2008.

John performed on saxophone, flute, clarinet, recorder, percussion, microphone, table, floor, and even a water bottle. John was also accompanied by Steve Newcomb, Lindsay Stafford, Jose McLaughlin, Yitzhak Yedid and Stephen Emmerson on the piano.
