Kingsman reveals to Judith Benedict that the Sacred Hand of God in David
Neilson’s chest is a fake. At Cornelius Blackwater’s cottage, Sebastian
tells David Neilson that if he wants Lucy Wolff to live he must place the
Sacred Hand of God on the dead Clarissa’s body. Saffron urges Thomas Blackwater
to unmask Brother James before it is too late. Barnes arrives at the cottage.

After the body of the murdered Cornelius Blackwater is discovered, Reed and
Barnes are called in to investigate. Holding Lucy Wolff still as his hostage
at Cornelius Blackwater’s cottage, Sebastian orders David Neilson to fetch an
item he retrieved from Richard Dewbury’s basement from the boot of his car.
At Hugo Kingsman’s jewellery store, Saffron asks Thomas Blackwater to play
the game of the divine square in a bid to save David Neilson and Lucy Wolff.

Episode 4
Brother James orders the counsellors at the hall of prophecies to perform
a mysterious ritual. Sebastian, the brother of the deceased Clarissa Morgan,
takes Lucy Wolff hostage and demands to speak with David Neilson who has
returned to Cornelius Blackwater’s cottage after leaving hospital. In the
meantime, Thomas Blackwater visits the maker of the wheel of fate,
Hugo Kingsman, at his jewellery store in Glastonbury. Saffron, the Seer,
and Thomas Blackwater meet.

Cornelius Blackwater urges Lucy Wolff to go and see David Neilson at the
hospital. Soon after, Cornelius has an unwelcome visitor at the pharmacy,
Brother James. Reed and Barnes suspect a link between
Clarissa Morgan's disappearance, a precious artefact that was once in
the possession of the
Glastonbury monk, Brother James, and the Dewbury family. As Lucy waits at
the hospital bed for David to regain consciousness, Thomas Blackwater enters
the room.

Thomas Blackwater arrives at Mildred Moore'
s guesthouse in Glastonbury.
Across the road, Cornelius Blackwater, local pharmacist and the last descendent
of the Blackwater family, confesses to his assistant Lucy Wolff that his
actions brought about the attack on David Neilson. Superintendent John Reed
and Detective Inspector Phillippa Barnes continue to interview Richard Dewbury
over the disappearance of David Neilson's girlfriend, the journalist
Clarissa Morgan.

Thomas Blackwater reveals to Lucy Wolff that David Neilson is the son of
Brother James, who was the guardian of the Sacred Hand of God until he,
Thomas Blackwater, stole it from him in 1484. At the pharmacy,
Cornelius Blackwater learns just how determined Brother James is to
regain control over the Sacred Hand of God. After hours of questioning by
Reed and Barnes, Richard Dewbury admits his involvement in the attack on
David Neilson and the murder of Clarissa Morgan.
