HabsCast [4-04] Czech Sausage

Apparently that’s what they call a saucer pass in the Czech Republic. When I visited there the only thing they knew about hockey was that Jagr was great. All I can say is what a difference a week makes. 5 loses in a row followed by 4 wins in a row. Halak has single handedly evened out the Habs record but I have a feeling we’ll see Price again. Prized free agent Mike Cammellari final got his offensive game going and all in all it’s been a fun week. Enjoy ...

HabsCast [4-03] The Little Three

The trip out west didn’t exactly go according to plan. Price finally got the start he deserved in the garage (GM Place) but les boys left him out to dry. After seven games the Habs have only managed to collect 4 points. Is it time to panic? Take a listen and find out. Please keep the emails coming habscast@gmail.com Word and Much luv.

HabsCast [4-02] Toronto Sucks, Buffalo Sucks, Krypton Sucks

So we finally got to see Gainey’s new boys on the ice and frankly there was nothing not to like about the score … we won. It’s going to be a hard road to the playoffs so we got to get the points early. Lets make a trade for a couple more Saskatchewan boys then we’re pretty much guarantied the Cup. HabsCast [3-20] Post-Mortem

It was quick but it wasn’t painless. The Bruins ripped through the Habs in four straight. We are going to avoid ripping the Canadiens to shreds but don’t worry they’ll get theirs from the HabsCast crew. Find out who did better in their first round predictions and we’ll give you another sets of predictions for the following round. Thanks to all the listeners for your support this season … we are not sure if this is going to be the last program but don’t stop the emails habscast@g ...

HabsCast [3-17] Win and you’re in.

Or in the Habs case lose and you’re in too. The Canadians have lost three games in a row (Senators, Rangers and Bruins) and somehow clinched a playoff spot. So it doesn’t feel like ’93, who cares we’re in. The real question is can this team do any damage this year in the playoffs. Why don’t you take a listen and find out. Keep the e-mails coming habscast@gmail.com Word and Much Luv.

HabsCast [3-18] David vs. goliath

Actually Gross is not a part of this incredible episode. But the Habs actually looked like they had some fight in them as they didn’t back down from the Goliaths of the league; Chara and Lucic. Any way you want to cut it the Habs look like they could steal a game or two but winning the series is going to be a hell of fight. The intensity is present but can the same be said for Andrei Kostisyn? We also throw down are first round predictions in typical HabsCast ...

HabsCast [3-19] Down 3 - 0

It’s getting tougher to keep the faith the way this team has been playing. I don’t even know what to say that hasn’t already been said.  Only Kovalev, Higgins and now Weber have been able to beet Thomas and at no point has a game looked particularly winnable. So this may be the last game of the season. It was fun but hopefully not over. Keep writing we got at least one show left habscast@gmail.com Word and Much Luv.

HabsCast [3-16] Black hawks down

The Habs welcomed back their former number one net minder as the playoff bound Blackhawks came to the Bell Center. So Huet didn’t steal the show. Good for the Canadiens and for Carey Price who showed Gainey and Co. that he was the ready for the number one spot. Chi Town has talent but they just didn’t get the stops. The Habs rode a short bench to victory and stay one point ahead of the Panthers in the Eastern Conference playoff race. Keep writing habscast@gmail.com and come find wangoba ...

HabsCast [3-13] Do they celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Russia?

Judging by Alex Kovalev and Andrei Markov’s performances I think its safe to say every day is St. Patty’s in Moscow but I don’t think they have the same holiday in Finland. It’s too bad the Canadiens can’t show up as a team and when Kovalev is on Koivu is off and again we say an absence of team toughness. The Habs had an opportunity jump up in the Eastern Conference standings against the Blue Shirts and again they DID NOT capitalize on their opportunity. That being said HabsCast r ...

The Scoreboard [Vol.1] Koivu = Cute.

He's bright, cute and single ... He also happens to be 10 years old, but if you ask me he talks more like a 30 year old. The young brainiac I'm refering to is Habs fan fenatik, Oren Eisman. The Scoreboard is a short insight into the mind of a hockey prodigy ... so make sure to check back every week to get the latest and the greatest from the Fellowship's boy genius.

HabsCast [3-14] I just closed my eyes and it was in my glove.

So I guess it was all talent for Carey Price to rob Ilya Kovalchuk and flash a little leather. Our beloved Montreal Canadiens were at risk of loosing six games in a row and they needed to step up against the Atlanta Thrashers to stay alive in the playoff race. Bob put the big line together with Koivu, Kovalev and Tanguay and they put up the points. Check out our new site fellowshipofhockey.com and keep the emails coming... habscast@gmail.com

HabsCast [3-15] Miller Time (I think my watch is broken).

Our beloved Montreal Canadiens picked up 5 of a possible 6 points this week and have kept themselves alive for a playoff spot. This keep is starting to play Ok and we have seen a super line of sorts emerge with Koivu, Kovalev and Tanguay. Unfortunately when one line succeeds another inevitably fails. Plekanec line with D'Agostini and Kostistyn have struggle and Andrei has blessed this team with the flu. On tonight's show Bertolo and Wenger discuss the game against the Lightning and the Sab ...

[3-12] St. Marty’s Day
