The Real Estate Agent Facade

This should not be news to anyone. We all try to make the best impression possible in interviews, first dates, etc. In the world of real estate, many agents work hard on creating the perception that they are a successful agent. We will discuss how that is often not the case. They can also point to their office or their status as a Top 1% agent as a reason to work with them. We put all these ideas under the microscope this week and see what we get!

Real Agent Stats

Most people don't realize that with the information currently kept in the MLS system (the one I use anyway), you could easily calculate all kinds of useful information about real estate agents. While most agents just want to dazzle you with their status as a Top 1% Agent (which means NOTHING to buyers and sellers), wouldn't it be nice to be able to go to a website, input your agents name and find out how many of their listings actually end up selling? Or how close to askin ...
