Ringwood North PS Short Film Festival - 6th December

On Thursday 6th December, Ringwood North PS will be holding its world famous Short Film Festival at Hoyts Eastland - over 25 movies made by our Years 5& 6 students. Tickets go on sale Thursday 22 November.This trailer has been made by Dob’d On Productions (Dylan G, Dan Mc, Liam B, Alistair T, Stefan R and Shane W). The battle between good and evil continues to be fought - in the classroom. Who will win?

Flashback 2005 - 'Revenge of the Evil Beanie Kid'

Another flashback to 2005 with the trailer to the cult hit‘Revenge of the Evil Beanie Kid.’ This classic was written, recorded, edited and produced by Alex, David M, David P, Naveen& Riley. Camera Club - Nature

Year 5 teacher Mrs Rebecca Nicolandos runs a regular‘Camera Club’ for students at Ringwood North Primary School. During this program, the students investigate a variety of camera techniques and skills in order to produce professional looking shots. Flashback 2004 - Lend A Hand

In 2004, the Year 6 students composed, designed, constructed and distributed their own CD of original music.‘Lend A Hand’ is track 12 on this album and was written and performed by Jacklyn D& Brittany G, with Mrs Lane on keyboard. In 2005, Ringwood North Primary School held its very own Short Film Festival of over 20 movies at the local cinema complex, playing to over 450 people. Mr Happy meets Motorcycle Man - Stopmotion lesson

A very basic example of Stopmotion animation made by 6B in approximately 15 minutes. Years 5& 6 students were introduced to the this form of animation during our‘Movie Magic’ sessions during Term 1. Many of the students are excited about the prospect of making their own animation - and we look forward to seeing what they come up with.
