Mayo: David Branchflower

David Blanchflower is a former member of the Bank of England Monetary Policy Committee. He consistently voted to cut interest rates despite the high inflation at the time, and opposition from his colleagues on the MPC. He's now an economics professor at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. He told Simon about working with the Bank of England during one of the most turbulent periods in history.
