Some people have been having trouble posting videos in the Learn Japanese Pod Forums. So with the help of Coffeebot, Olly and a few 500ml cans of Kirin äçæã we made this little tutorial for you. Actually, it's pretty easy to post a video in the forums but it's not very intuitive. If you don't know how to do it, it can be a little tricky working it out. Since we use SMF for our forum, this tutorial should work for any similar one. Enjoy.
In this podcast I interviewed Stoneriver and Goldhorn who have completed a 1200km bike trip to Hokkaido. I met up with them after the finish line and asked them how they got on. Enjoy.
I'm currently staying at the Earth Embassy, a cafe, organic farm and learning center for sustainable lifestyles in Yamanashi. I'm helping out with a project to make an all year green house from recycled materials inspired by Earthship technology. I'm also here because I want to escape the madness of Tokyo and get some fresh country air. Check out these related links:The Earth EmbassyEarthship
In this week's Fun Friday, Jasmin, Ben, Karamoon and myself talked about subjects including getting free (or very cheap) Japanese lessons at local community centers. It's a great way to get started in Japanese in Japan on a low or non existent budget. Enjoy.
Welcome to Fun Monday?! Yes I know I should have got this show up three days ago but trust me this show is a good one. I was invited by Stone River of the Learn Japanese Forums to a craft beer brewers new year party. I was lucky enough to bump into Tim an expert in micro brews who very kindly gave us the low down on what's what in the beer world in Japan. So a huge thanks to Tim and all the other beer connoisseurs who made it such a great party.
We'll be posting some more beer interviews ...
