Johannes Brahms waited more than 40 years before he composed a symphony, then he wrote four in the space of ten years ? all of them masterpieces. Conductor Marin Alsop is now recording all of these symphonies with the London Philharmonic Orchestra. This podcast looks at Symphony No. 2 ?
