The track on this mash up isJ Dilla’se=mc2, off the recent BBE releasethe Shining– a compilation of Dilla instrumentals. It has all his late lamented style- a bass-line that bumps, soulful vocoded atmospherics, and beats so laid back and heavy that they’re lying down, and unable to get up again. So so good, I just had to find an acapella to set it off right. The first one I reached for was Grandmaster Flash’sthe message, and it sounded alright- so here it is… Two grandmasters, one track.
