It turns out that one of the most popular TV shows of recent years is also -- in its own way -- educational. Or so says science writer Jennifer Ouellette, who realized one evening while watching "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" that there was, indeed, some real science in the show about a teenage girl who fights monsters. Turns out that teleportation, alternate dimensions, and even Buffy's kickboxing skills have their basis in real scientific principles. Ouellette is author of the new book "The Physics of the Buffyverse."
