The Nemesis TheoryThis episode is work safe.

When investigating the origins of The Nemesis Theory one is forced to accept the oft-ignored multi-dimensional continuity subconsciously defining the human experience. The Nemesis Theory are four autonomous micro circuited nervous systems existing as a conjoined entity in the subspace region of quantum reality. The psionic link they posses was forged while testing experimental neuro-linguistic conditioning exercises for the secretive Dark Matter Industries. The band initially agreed to participate in the study to raise beer money.

Interview with John Gillanders of The Nemesis Theory.

We discuss the influence of the Cartoon Network's Sealab 2020 on their song, "Stimutacs"; why they named the band The Nemesis Theory; meeting the band through Seattle's The Stranger; being labled a "punk/prog rock" band; why he thinks there is a resurgence in prog rock; why prog rock is usually so inaccessible; how they write their songs; how sports like football control the masses; why he moved from Ohio to Seattle; where the rest of the band is from; why he thinks the psychedelic and trance music scene is popular in the Northwest; the biggest musical export from Seattle; artist Donald Jones; their upcoming performances.

Featured songs are:

  1. "Stimutacs"
  2. "Beer and Circuses"
  3. "Bukkaki Pandemic"
