Link to the Show / Show Notes Welcome to the Christmas edition of Tech on the Fly, coincidentally it is our 50th Episode, which is of course a cause for celebration, and also my 17th Birthday. Joy to the world, literally.
Podsafe Intro Song
This song technically isn't podsafe, but it's in the Public Domain here in Canada. Sung by Frank Sinatra, Let it Snow is a popular Christmas Classic, pick a copy of it up at your local record store to here more of Frank.
Sound Card In!
Finally, Tech in the Fly has background noise no longer. Christmas Day brought forth gifts including the new external Sound Card, thus eliminating the crappy background noise this show has suffered from the beginning, check out the sound card here if you're interested in getting one for yourself.

Midshow Podsafe Song
Today's Podsafe song is by a group we've featured previously: bill . Today we play their song: Sound Scientist. Surely to become a hit on the Podsafe Music Network, it was recorded by a group that has talent in so many different styles, they've created their own unique sound.
Google Works for You?
Anyone that has ever run a corporate domain has struggled with the task of setting up domain software for users to use with their e-mail, and any other information stored on the webserver. Google has opened up it's software for free , you can now use the power of Google Spreadsheets, Contacts, Gmail, and much more on your own domain. Check out the link here, and get it today for your site. I'm considering handing out techonthefly.com e-mails with GMAIL through this, let me know if you have any interest.
AllofMP3.com Sued!
The popular Russian-based MP3 downloading website has been sued by the RIAA for the outrageous amount of $1.65 Trillion US Dollars! Not much to say about this other than my lowered opinion (of an already non-existant) opinion of the RIAA. Check out the article , and form your own opinions.
See the outcome of 10 years neglect of the inside of a PC tower , kinda brings into question the intelligence of the warranty stickers preventing you from opening your computer.

To close things up, I played my favourite Christmas Carol at the end of the show "Away in a Manger" through the talent of Mario Ajero. Check out his Podsafe Music Profile here .
