News of a Chinatown Restaurant from the "we told you so" files. We've also found three new restaurants. Los Chapparos is located in the McCully area while huge restaurant chain Romano's Macaroni Grill opened in the Ala Moana Center and Coffee Bean&Tea Leaf has opened two stores in Manoa and Kailua. We spend a few minutes with Rick Chang of Foodland Supermarkets. There is lots of crop news this week. And, Cheryl King gives a very favorable review of The Nasturtium Cafe in Kealakekua on the Big Island. We have a trio of articles about Chinatown and Chinese Noodles. From Anthony Chang comes "Oodles of Chinese Soup Noodles." Larry Geller of freerangegourmet.com contributes his article, "The Gentrification of Chinatown" and HawaiiDiner.com's very own Gail Jennings has written "Chinatown - Not Just Pho and Dim Sum Anymore" about the new offerings in the changing neighborhood.Contributors to today's podcast include Lisa Barron, Lori Evans, Sheryl Toda and Keoni Chang. Special thanks to Rick Chang of Coffee Bean&Tea Leaf for making time for our interview. Thanks also to Cheryl King for her review, and Anthony Chang and Larry Geller for their articles.Music Credits:'Berimbau' by Inverted Silence/Jim Kang was provided by ccmixter.org.
