Verdammt, wenn ich nur darauf käme, an welchen französischen Film, der mit “Die fabelha” anfängt und “fte Welt der Amélie” aufhört, mich dieser Titel erinnert. Naja, komm’ ich jetzt nicht drauf, ist aber auch egal. “Berceuse” stammt jedenfalls von der Platte “The Project” der französischen Band “Vulsor”. Dahinter stehen Fred und Olivier die jeweils die Hälfte des Albums komponiert haben.
“Fred, Olivier, warum habt Ihr Euch entschieden Eure Lieder nicht unter das normale Copyright zu stellen?” – “Wir wählten eine freie Lizenz weil wir keine professionellen Musiker sind (sondern Ingenieure) und wir unsere Musik einfach mit anderen Musikern und Hörern teilen wollten. Oder auch mit Menschen die unsere Musik in ihren eigenen Projekten verwenden, wie zum Beispiel diesem.”
“Und warum habt ihr speziell die Lizence Art Libre zur Lizensierung Eurer Lieder gewählt?” – “Einfach weil es eine französische Lizenz ist und wir damals, als wir dieses Album veröffentlichten, noch nichts von den Creative Commons gehört hatten ;) ”

Damn! If I only could remember the name of the french movie this song reminds me of. I only know, it starts with “A” and ends with “mélie”. Mh…I just can’t come up with the whole name now. But never mind. “Berceuse” is from the record “The Project” by the french band “Vulsor”. Behind this band are Olivier and Fred who composed each half of the album (hence the two halfs in contrast to other albums by other bands).
“Fred, Olivier, why have you decided not copyright your songs the usual way?” – “We chose a free licence because we’re not professional musicians (we are ingeneers) and we just wanted to share this music with other musicians, listeners and specially people who could use it in their
own projects (little movies, ...). For instance: the multimedial “Sight” foto novel.
“And why have you chosen especially the Lizence Art Libre for licensing your material?” – “Just because it was a french licence and we didn’t know creative commons yet… :)”
