Link to the Show / Show NotesCongratulations to the Burtons on their wedding on the 15th and to Brad for managing to only spend 10 minutes a day in the Barbados cybercafe! In this show, we have 28 4Networkers coming at you from all over the South West. We get to find out some more about the legend that is Jorge from Salgado Investigations and put a voice to another 4Networking institution, Nichola Smith of Admiral Collections.
Thanks to everyone on the growing 4Networking circuit who contributed to the show - the feedback is unanimous: 4Networking is networking "for people who understand what networking is really about". LIke it :-)
As an experiment, we recorded the show in the car this time on a Sony Ericsson K880i! It just goes to show that, if you're keen, you can podcast from anywhere with the most bog-standard equipment!
For the techy types, I fixed the poor mp3 quality issue this time by NOT using Audacity to export the mp3 file. Bah! Just as they finally made it a more useful bit of software, they went and messed up the quality of the mp3 export! Well, what did I expect from free software?
Music this time from the usual Swampdweller, B-Sea Surfers as well as a clip from 'Jump the Broom Wedding Song' by Kamal Imani; a great version of Stevie Ray Vaughan's 'Sweet Little Angel' performed by 4Ner Mike Finding's blues band 'Off the Rails' (01202 694654) and to round out, 'Forecast (Wombat Mix)' by Jadox. Thanks, too, to the Podsafe Music Network - oh, and Mike, why not put Off The Rails up there?
And, for a bit of fun since you're here already, have a go at recording some feedback on that cool little testimonial recorder over there on the right. Your PC needs to have a mic (internal or external) to do it but give it a go! We'll include it in the next show. ;-)
