Irgendwas an der Musik klingt dänisch, oder etwa nicht? Und es ist bei weitem nicht nur der Vorname des Künstlers. Es könnte die Vorstellung sein, dass es sich in Dänemark dank sozialen Systems auch bei kühlem Nieselwetter ganz gut leben lässt, wobei bei diesem Lied der Sound das Nieselwetter ist und die Melodie das soziale System. Und bei diesem Podcast sind es die Vergleiche die hinken.
Ich habe Laurie gefragt ob und – wenn ja – warum er dieses Lied unter einer “freien” Lizenz veröffentlicht hat und ob ich es für diesen Podcast nutzen darf. Dazu schrieb er:
“Ja “Taste” steht unter der Creative Commons -Lizenz, fühl Dich also frei es für Dein Projekt zu nutzen. Meine gesamte Musik steht unter dieser Lizenz. Ich fühle, dass mein Werk so von dem größtmöglichen Publikum gehört werden kann. Außerdem bekomme ich eine Menge positives Feedback von Menschen, denen meine Musik gefallen hat. Musik ist nicht meine Hauptbeschäftigung, und so bin ich ganz glücklich damit, meine Arbeit frei im Internet zu veröffentlichen.”
Laurie hat auch die Musik für den Film “The Paper Trumpet” geschrieben.

Does this sound danish to your ears? If yes give me a cake please. This song prooves that coldness isn’t an obstacle if it comes to being a nice and good mooded song. Well this all has probably nothing to do with Danmark. But of course it could be possible.
I’ve asked Laurie, if and why he licensed this song under a “free” license. He wrote:
“Yes “Taste” is under the Creative Commons license, so feel free to use it for your project. All my music has this license. I feel it gives my work the widest possible audience and I get a lot of positive feedback by people who have enjoyed it. Music is not my full time occupation, so I am quite happy to release my work for free on the Internet.”
Laurie has also composed the music for the film “The Paper Trumpet”.
