Frisch-fröhlich kommen die Beats von “Open your eyes” daher. Diesen Remix mag ich (trotz meiner nicht an Hip-Hop gewöhnten Ohren) weil er recht entspannend ist und durchaus melodiöse Element enthält, die mir bekannt vorkommen. Und was der Bauer kennt, dass frisst er ja bekanntlich.
Giovanni aka Coffeetrim, hat sich gefreut, dass “Open your eyes” hier vorgestellt wird und war gleichzeitig überrascht, dass ich ihn überhaupt gefragt habe, ob ich dieses Stück hier podcasten kann:
“Ich fühle mich ja echt geschmeichelt dass Du mein Release podcasten willst. Danke übrigens, dass Du mich darüber informierst, da Du offiziell ja nicht dazu verpflichtet bist. So weit die Creative Commons Lizenz festlegt, darfst Du das Lied podcasten, verändern und sogar für kommerzielle Zwecke verwenden.”
Ich habe ihn gefragt: “Warum hast Du Dich entschieden dieses Stück unter eine CC-Lizenz zu stellen?”
“Ich habe diese Lizenz gewählt, weil ich wirklich möchte, dass die Leute meine Werke hören und mögen und meinen Namen kennenlernen. Daher dachte ich, dass es das Beste wäre, meine Tracks ohne zu strenge Copyright-Regeln zu veröffentlichen.”
Neben dem Musikmachen arbeitet Coffeetrim als Graphik-Designer und unterhält und promotet die italienische Ausgabe von Electrobel, einer europaweiten “Eletronic underground music community” mit Vertretungen in Belgien, Frankreich, Italien und Holland. Seltsamerweise gibt es noch keinen deutschen Ableger von Electrobel. Very relaxing beats and a fresh sound give this Hip-Hop track a melodic touch. Sounds very friendly and somehow familiar, though I don’t own the common black-music ears.
Giovanni aka Coffeetrim was quite happy that “Open your eyes” is gonna be podcasted here. At the same time he seemed surprised to be asked for podcasting permission:
“I am flattered you liked my release, and want to podcast it. I’d also like to thank you for notify me for that, as you are not officially forced to do that, because as far as the Creative Commons license states, you are free to podcast it, modify it, use it even for commercial puropse.”
I asked him: “Why did you decide to publish this track under a Creative Commons licence?”
“I chose that license as I really want people listening/enjoy/know my productions and my name, so I thought the best way to do it was releasing tracks without too many copyright restrictions.”
Next to being a graphic designer and making great music, Coffeetrim is running the Italian division of Electrobel, an european based electronic underground music community which is avalible in Belgium, France, Italy and the Netherlands. Strangely there is no German branch of Electrobel yet.
