birthday we've put together a special edition showcasing just some of the
highlights of the show. Our 'Best of Vhi Health Club' brings together the
stories of some amazing people like Tony Kavanagh who shared his story of how
the hospital superbug, MRSA, nearly killed him and has altered his life completely.
We also hear from Keith Duffy who spoke for many parents of autistic children when
he had a plead for more educational resources for children, like his daughter Mia,
and more support for parents having the challenge of raising an autistic child.
Wendy Porter who is still fighting breast cancer, with the help of the new drug
Hercepton,told us about the ordeal of telling her children what was happening and
explaining her cancerto them. Singer Layla Collins, who lost a chunk of her student
years through ME, said not being believed was the worst aspect of getting ME while actor
Philip Evans highlighted one of the dilemma of having Hep C when he shared how his partner
and he want to have a child but would have to stop his treatment to conceive. We also hear
some of the medical and health stories which made news on the show and hear the voices of
young people being frank and honest about both their drinking and their sexual habits. Its all
