The first part of our new Bible Class series, added to the site on 12th October. Our journey verse-by-verse through 1 John begins with an introduction. Brief sermon excerpt: "I don't know about you, but I think it's rather interesting to hear what old men of God have to say - especially at the end of their lives. If you can get aside an old man of God, then listen to the advice that, as the Bible puts it, 'the hoary head' of wisdom would give to you! When someone who is a great giant of the faith speaks, we tend to sit up and listen because of the authority of the experience, the weight that is behind their statements and the life that they have lived. When proven servants of God speak, we ought to listen!..."
