Mrs. Margrit Mondavi talked about some of the art and music programs she introduced at the Robert Mondavi Winery. She talked about how she expanded the Winery's art collection to include sculptures by Beniamino Bufano and other famous artists from California and from around the world. Mrs. Mondavi's interest in good food and fine wines led to introducing the Executive Chef Classes at the Robert Mondavi Winery. She recently introduced TAST3: Art Music, Food series at the Winery. Mrs. Mondavi believes that good food and wine are important because, she said. 'important events in our lives are celebrated around dinner tables.' In this interview, Mrs. Mondavi talked about some of the Mondavi family's past and future philanthropic plans that relate to art and education at UCDavis.
