Cheri Gmiter, now Executive Director of the MAGNET Global Network was previously Sales Manager at KDKA-AM Radio in Pittsburgh, PA. Prior to working at KDKA Radio, Ms. Gmiter was Vice President—Account Supervisor at HMS Hallmark (now Ten United), senior vice president at DDF&M Advertising and Account Supervisor at Market Development Group in Orlando, Fla. She was named National Agency Executive of the Year by her client, Midas Automotive, in 1997. She has been president of the Pittsburgh Advertising Federation, part of the American Advertising Federation (AAF), and, in 2005 received the AAF Crystal Prism Award for outstanding service and commitment to the organization. Ms. Gmiter received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her MBA degree from Chatham College.
