John is a first generation American, born to parents who immigrated to the United States from Bohemia, or what is now known as the Czech Republic, in the early 1900's. John, an engineer by trade, has been doing extensive research on his family and his Czech heritage, and has been able to trace his ancestors back thirteen generations.
In this interview, John talks about his Czech heritage and about the Czech Society or Oregon.
