Our first Track Of The Week is "Holy Jukebox" by the band Additional Moog, which originally started in England as a one-man studio project influenced by the music of Simon & Garfunkel, Neil Young and the Silver Jews and the song titles of Captain Beefheart. James Williams (right) played and recorded everything himself until finally finding three other people into both ABBA and ELO. The song Trout Thing racked up more than 30,000 downloads on MP3.com. Along the way, former Pavement auxilliarist Bob Nastanovich played with the band. Now Admoog has signed with U.S. indie label Lost Cat Records to release “Holy Jukebox” as Additional Moog’s first official Stateside single. The demo version of the song was recently made Track Of The Day at Garageband.com
