The membership drive seems to be off to a fairly good start, so I remain tentatively optimistic that I'll be able to stop taking the old shows down! But the "hypnotism" mentioned last week continues with another really good show as we follow up some of Chris' recommendations from a few weeks ago! The membership drive helps us pay our annual bills around here, as well as gives us an opportunity to expand and improve RSA. Luckily, those who donate get in line for a lot of really neat prizes!

Sadly, when you choose a lot of underground and really new stuff, Amazon just hasn't caught up yet, so no links this week.

Clan Of Xymox - Weak In My Knees (Azoic)
OK, I'm not a huge fan of Xymox, nor of The Azoic. But it would seem that if you put them together you get a winning combination.

Interface - Faith In Nothing (Combichrist)
Luckily since their last label went under, Interface has been able to get re-signed, this time to Nilaihah Records. Hopefully this remix and the latest album will bring them that much more success!

Reactivate - Waiting For The Night (Midnite Resistance)
It's funny, we got a note a few weeks ago when Chris initially played Reactivate saying "Finally!" or somehting to that affect. Man, this only came out in December on some Polish label, and it's only available in Europe. Heh. I can't keep up with *everything*!

Mesh - What Are You Scared Of?
You know, I've always wondered why we don't hear Mesh on commercial radio. It's got the right sound, and it doesn't grate on my nerves. Plus Mark can really sing.

Minerve - My Universe (Iris)
It's funny, get Iris to mix this song and it sounds like an Iris track, right down to the vocals. Man, talk about making a good song just that much better! It's too bad that Iris doesn't do songs like this much anymore.

Unheilig - Menschenherz
I've decided that I really like Unheilig's mix of electronic beats and heavy guitar. What can I say? It must be the head banger in me trying to get out. I still miss the good coldwave that came out in the mid 90s.

Obzoen Geshoepf - Hellbound
How about a nice straightforward stompy beat with growly vocals to end out that set? It's a little 2 dimensional, but it just seemed to fit. I really like this sort of stuff, but only in small doses.

FOD - Siegerwelten
Finally, we end off the show with another "Chris" band. Unfortunately, some times I'll pick a track that just doesn't fit in with everything else. But it's so good I can't just throw it back, so it becomes the odd man out at the end of the show. I'm totally digging FOD!
