This week I traveled around the middle of the North Island for work. We had a couple of days in Mt Maunganui that I was looking forward too , mainly because my kids used to live there and we spent some good times on the beach and even managed to climb "the mount" (as locals call it) one brave xmass day. Well, this trip wasn't so great due to the fact that my hotel had construction going on next door from 6.30am till 7pm.
