The Great Chefs Fight Hunger fund raiser will be held at Restaurant Row on Friday, March 24. Sponsored by AIG Hawaii, the event benefits the Hawaii Foodbank. We detail the restaurants that will be there and encourage your support. This week's food news discusses new places opening in Waikiki including a new offering by famed Japanese chef Nobu Matsuhisa. We feature a Dine & Dash of Covenant Cafe in Kaimuki. Previous podcast contributor Manolo Morales has lots of priase for this eatery. He is especially fond of their daily soup which is made from scratch by Dave Yoshimura. Dave has a different offering every day of the month.
