Today saw a major influx of members and guests into Broken Hill for the WIA AGM weekend and to participate in the planned social and tourism events. 40 meter and 2 meter simplex stations were set up in the Southern Cross Hotel on Thursday evening to accompany people travelling by road. Thanks are extended to all those home stations who spent their time keeping the travellers company on HF and relaying messages to others who could not be heard because of propagation conditions.
