On this day in 1909, The North Pole was discovered!

The North Pole is an Arctic Region – the coldest place on earth! It NEVER loses its cover of snow and ice… and in the winter, the temperature can be as low as 94 DEGREES below zero! How cold is 94 DEGREES below zero? Well… to judge how cold it is, you can compare it to your freezer… Your freezer is probably no more than ZERO degrees – so the Arctic in the winter is much, much colder than even your freezer...
