British women will be spring-cleaning a lot more than their cupboards this year as 79% admit their lives are far too cluttered. 3 in 5 say part of the clutter is unwanted friends with nearly a third saying they had 5 friends or more they wouldnt mind never seeing again. Maybe we should be more selective about who we add on Facebook?
The research, conducted by confectioners Ricola, shows women are no better when it comes to their handbags or their homes. Nearly half (47%) have missed calls on their mobiles because they cant find the phone in their handbag before the other person has rung off. Considering a quarter keep 15 or more items in their handbags at any one time this is hardly surprising!
A further 78% admit their homes are cluttered with junk and although 68% plan to de-clutter their homes and their handbags, they never quite get round to it.
