You will be in awe when you hear how, when and why she got into the flying business. She found a way to combine her experience dating back to childhood in photography, with her later in life new found passion of flying, to become one of the finest aerial photographers in the USA.
Marge is the Mother of 5 and has been married for 55 years this September to her husband Bill, who has supported her all the way. After she raised her children, she was inspired to become a pilot after flying home from New Mexico over the City of Chicago at nighttime. All it took was $5.00 for a flight in a small plane and the rest as they say is history and what a history it has been!
Listen in to hear some of her wildest adventures, including one cross country trip with a friend, while shooting beautiful photos along the way for clients. Unbelievable story, you cannot miss this one!
Marge tells us how she flies her 1973 Cardinal plane, while taking aerial and vertical shots of some of the most beautiful lakes and harbors across the USA, just to mention a few. Marge has shot photos of all the Great Lakes in the Midwest as well as many other subjects across the entire country, including the Statue of Liberty and the Golden Gate Bridge.
She modified her plane to take vertical shots as well as those she takes out of her side window on the right side of her plane.
She has photographed real estate, commercial properties, lighthouses, harbors, mountains, sunrises, sunsets, even weddings! You name it she has photographed it. She talks about her photography equipment and how she is able to fly and "shoot" at the same time as well as what shots can be the most difficult to shoot.
**Marge shares an interesting and fun story about her unique "ability" to "move the clouds" out of her way when she needs that perfect shot.

Marge has her own print shop too and has the ability to print sizable enlargements of her photos with "virtual mats", a double mat process that is printed as an integral part of the enlargement, using colors in the photo to make a stunning piece of artwork.
Marge also is her own webmaster; she created and maintains her own website. Do her talents ever end? We don't think so! She is a one of a kind adventurous woman who truly is an inspiration to all women and men alike!
You won't want to miss the story about a scary close call Marge had while flying and how she managed to make the best of a bad situation by taking a very special photo before the event was over and the caption she placed under that picture, which now hangs on her office wall as a reminder.
Marge talks to us about her plane, which has been her companion for over 25 years and when asked if she would ever buy a newer plane, her answer was swift. Any guesses as to her answer and why? You have to listen to the show!
One special story Marge shared with us after the show was a time when she flew her Cardinal with Bill at her side (also a registered pilot, but no longer actively flying) to the Bahamas. They landed on a gravel strip where it was quiet and un-occupied. They walked along the beach and collected some of the most beautiful shells they have ever seen. They stayed at a quaint place unlike any tourist stop, where they put in their order with the cook in the morning and had a nice meal waiting for them later that day. They topped off that trip with some great snorkeling. This is one of her favorite memories and we are happy she shared that with us, so we could share it with you.
As Marge said, owning your own plane gives you many more opportunities to go where you want, when you want, which tourists never get to see.
