Many kids games involve the idea of a"base"; a place where the player is safe from the turmoil of the game as it wages on around them. We can all remember back to that special feeling of security as we made it to base and knew that we couldn't be tagged or made"it". Often in life we feel the need for a base as well, and today's verse,Psalm 59:16from theNIV, refers to the ultimate base as the psalmist sings praises to God:I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.Think about this verse whenever you need a safe place to run to.God bless you!Background music provided by and copyright Craig Anderson (dub4k.com).
