Link to the Show / Show NotesA few days ago I read where some nut was putting on
a "Miss Sister" Pageant. Open to Nuns. As a former
Catholic School kid I can say that is a bad idea. I have
a long list of trouble with Nuns. Why I was once labeled
as insubordinate. Imagine that. I once asked a Nun how
she expected to get into Heaven acting like she was.
There was even the paddling incident in which I gave the
Mother Superior a round house to the gut when she attempted
to give me whacks in front of the whole class. I was 8. I ran for my
life and basically was excommunicated, kicked out. Had to go to
public school after that. Today. I read the contest was canceled
as the promoter buckled under pressure. He felt it was a way
to humanize the old Penguins. Yeah right.
