For today’s blog entry (and you cancatch it on my podcast, as well), I wanted to start with a little question: Have you ever lost anything? Could have been a big thing that was really important or just a small thing that you know you had but you just can’t find it now when you need it?
Interestingly, CimDATA, an international market analysis firm, estimates that on average 20% of a designer’s time is spent trying to find the correct version of their design files or drawings. It’s a tricky problem that can be a real time sink. And in these days of global competition and the race to do more with less, none of us has time to waste.
