Me-gumi no Daigo is being released in the US by Viz Media and was originally released Japan by Shogakukan's Shonen Sunday line. There are 20 volumes to this award winning title that was the winner of the 1997 Shogakukan Manga award and also won the 1998 Japan Media Arts Award.
This title was made into a one shot OVA anime and was recently made into a TV dorama in 2004. It is also considered the spark that started the emergency/rescue boom in TV and manga in Japan.
