That's a beautiful bassline hook in "Dreaming Of An M16". "Monochrome" is reminiscent of harder-edged euro-pop material, like early Cranberries.
I've made up my mind that this is my next CD purchase. The Shapes have recently put a new song on the Pod Safe Music Network's website and it's definitely in line with the quality of material you've just heard, so for a slightly longer show: here it is! Ironically, it's the name of a medium-security prison here in Montreal.
