Link to the Show / Show Notes "The Innocent Man" is the true story of former minor league baseball aspirant Ronald "Ron" Williamson, who was convicted and sentenced to death for the 1982 rape and murder of a young woman in Oklahoma. Grisham chronicles Williamson's life on death row and his eventual exoneration, which was aided by the Innocence Project, a national litigation and public policy organization dedicated to exonerating wrongfully convicted people. Grisham is a member of the organization's board of directors.
