Sermon delivered by Pastor Randy Pabst.Most people don’t particularly like being told what to do—that is, unless it’s what they already want to do. Today, Jesus tells the disciples what they must do to catch fish. Their own efforts have failed rather miserably. Maybe that’s why they were ready to listen. Maybe, for us, it is after we have failed (miserably?) that we are truly ready and able to listen to where Jesus wants us to go. In any case, the promise is that when we listen and respond miracles happen!
