Dr. Gary Aston-Jones is Professor of Neuroscience, the Director of the Center of Neuroscience and holds the Murray Chair of Excellence in Neuroscience at MUSC. He discusses the Centers of Excellence and specifically the Center of Cognitive Neuroscience. His research focuses on attention and addiction disorders and how the function of the locus ceruleus area of the brain affects these disorders.
