Made from the earth excavated from the moat of the Forbidden City, Jingshan Park has some lovely views of the palace from its five artificial peaks each of which has a restored pavilion on top.




Jingshan Park gets particularly lively on weekends and is mainly a gathering place for older people and couples with children..

Jingshan Parkis situated to the north of the Forbidden City palace and the nearest subway station is Dongsi.
