In the early months of 1995 dance culture was very much in its youth and still an underground movement, the energy was raw and growth was exponential. It was in this era where Chuck la Vida experienced his first taste of beautiful electronica. For the next five years he followed the movement veraciously experiencing countless djs and producers, studying and analyzing the culture and the music. Stepping behind the decks in 2000, Chuck la Vida quickly picked up the skill and quickly began building his resume. Winning consecutive dj competitions Chuck la Vida earned many residencies over the following 4 years in some of western Canada's busiest electronic nights. As well in 2000, Chuck la Vida created and maintained a successful production company known as team techno, which employed multiple djs and managed many successful weekly events...
