Instead, we share some ghosts from our past and give you this somewhat unusually formatted episode of NaD. Five Years ago last weekend, we found ourselves homeless and unemployed in the same day after the owners of a drive-in theater we were managing decided to close the doors forever. June 6 also happens to be the 80th anniversary of the first drive in theater, so join us as we take a trip down memory lane and take a tour of the Keysville Drive-In, our former home and place of business, following half a decade of total neglect. Throughout this sound-seeing tour, we discuss how we came to work for the drive-in, share a few stories about our experiences, and even tell some of the gory details of the demise of an American icon. We will Return back to a more normal show on episode 87 with a bottle of absinthe, more classic Steve Dupont, a special new correspondant, and one of our best hi-jinks ever. I apologize for the occasional iRiver audio irregularities, but we happened to be close to this place for the first time since we moved away, so neither of us could resist taking a look-see. Enjoy.
