If a painting, a sculpture or even a recording of a musical performance has been widely admired, has given delight to many, and is then revealed to be a forgery or a copy, why reject it? The object itself hasn´t changed, so what has? When he find out that something is a forgery, we feel cheated, but do we have reason to feel like that?
