A stream borders the edge of the marsh. Nearby, a thick stand of cattails rustles in the late afternoon breeze. Red-winged blackbirds, crows, chickadees, woodpeckers, and of course, seagulls join to create Cape Cod’s springtime chorus. While the oceans on Cape Cod get most of the visitors, the inner shores of marshland make for some of the most interesting hiking and nature watching.
