DIANA JONES returns to the WoodSongs stage with a brand new CD titled Better Times Will Come on Proper American Records. It’s been three years since her breakthrough CD My Remembrance of You made Diana a major figure in Americana music. Since then, Diana has landed the opening slot on high-profile European tours with Richard Thompson and Mary Gauthier and has been the featured invitee at folk festivals in Ireland, England, Rhode Island and Pennsylvania. One of her songs, “Henry Russell's Last Words,” has been recorded by Joan Baez.

CARBON LEAF is a five piece rock band based out of Richmond, VA. The band won the Coca-Cola New Music Award for the song “The Boxer,” off of their fifth and final self-released CD, Echo Echo. Part of the prize was the opportunity to become one of the rare unsigned bands to ever play on the American Music Awards. They signed to Vanguard Records and have released three albums. Their song “Life Less Ordinary” became a radio hit and gave Carbon Leaf its first taste of mainstream exposure. The band’s latest CD is Nothing Rhymes With Woman.
