PARKS STEPHENSON is a Naval Systems Engineering Manager at Lockheed Martin, with expertise in the integration of naval combat systems for both U.S. and foreign navies. A 1979 graduate of the US Naval Academy, Parks began his naval career in nuclear submarines, earned his Naval Flight Officer wings in the E-2C Hawkeye aircraft, qualified as a deck officer aboard an aircraft carrier and retired from active duty after serving as a commander of an amphibious warfare air control detachment in Kuwait. His historical knowledge and on-site forensic analytical skills have been tapped by James Cameron for both Walden Media’s Ghosts of the Abyss and Discovery Channel’s Last Mysteries of the Titanic; by Actuality Productions for History Channel’s Modern Marvels series; Darlow-Smithson Productions for National Geographic’s Seconds From Disaster series; and Lone Wolf Documentary Group for three History Channel expedition specials. military | iraq | afghanistan | support the troops | Pearl Harbor
