A Fund Raising Appeal for Tee & Serena Morris

Last week, Tee Morris lost his wife Natalie in death. It was sudden, and totally unexpected. This week, Tuesday, January 12 the funeral of his wife took place. As you can imagine, the loss of someone you have been with for many years is a great loss mentally and emotionally. There is a great void when someone that was always there, is suddenly gone completely. With this loss, come the costs that are incurred with dealing with all the aspects that a funeral entails. This in and of itself is a heavy burden for anyone to have to deal with. Besides this, Tee has to think of the physical, mental and emotional welfare of a young child who now has to experience life without her mother! A mutual friend that Tee and I have, is New Zealand author and Podcaster, Philippa Ballantine. She has come up with a wonderful and very thoughtful initiative to assist a great guy who is in need of our help and support at this time. Philippa has created a fund raising initiative that has already amassed an amazing $16, 782.13 cents! Some of this will be used to offset the costs of the funeral. However, there is another aspect to this initiative : to help and assist in creating a Trust Fund for young Serena. This phase of the fund raising will help to give this young child a start in life as she gets to an age where she has to make her own way into the world. I think this is a noble cause – I wouldn't be making this announcement if I didn't! Many of you have probably been introduced to Tee Morris through the interviews we've done together. He's funny, charming, cheeky at times – but he's a guy I've personally come to know as a “giver”, and “helper”. He's a man who has done a great deal for social media, and podcasting.
